Earth Rugs Stands, Like a Rock, Thirty-Five Years Strong!

Posted by Rose Fitzhugh Back on

In the gift and home fashion industry where change is constant and failure all too common, Earth Rugs® maintains success year after year. After thirty-five years, our company continues to supply American retailers with environmentally friendly rugs and table accents that are unique to the trade. Your satisfaction is our priority.

Our aim is to bring a smile to your face and to the faces of your customers. We start by creating remarkable products from high quality source materials and use them to make rugs and table accents that are among the best on Earth.

Jute fiber is older than written history. The first examples of it date back to the Neolithic era. Thousands of years later, Jute was used as the material of choice for rope on clipper ships before the invention of steel cables. The jute plant becomes soft when retted in water. After it is retted it is stripped and tied into bundles and then twisted into yarn, braided and finally sewn into rugs, table accents and baskets.

Thirty-five years after selling our first eco-friendly jute rugs, Earth Rugs® proudly extends itself to the next generation online. The key to our success is listening and responding to you. We use our experience with your input to create new and fresh collections, year after year. Please contact us anytime with any suggestions you may have. We are available at our headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm to help you.

  • I love your rugs! They are so very well made and the colors are beautiful. Love this picture, too. It reminds me a bit of our front porch as we also have two white rockers. The sweet little pup really adds a cute factor, too! I hope you are around for at least another 35 years more!!!
